Tinos Island
Tinos island is rich in diversity. From clean, unspoiled beaches, to well-maintained mountain trails across the island, there is something for every visitor: organized, and unorganized beaches, fine tavernas with traditional cuisine... Recently, many old trails across the island were set free and made suitable for hiking, opening up a plethora of mountain paths, a fascination for all hikers. The beautiful village of Pírgos is the center of the island's famous marble industry, which goes back several centuries. The landscape is varied, from flat, fertile plains at Kómi, to rocky terrain at Voláx. Almost every visitor to the island will find something they greatly love, if this is the beaches, the food, the culture, or simply the aesthetics of the landscape...
